In the second week of online learning, the children have started to think about the story of Traction Man, the characters and the roles of the different characters that they have read about.

We have encountered villainous characters, heroes and sidekicks. With a focus on descriptive language, the children have described the character of a hero and sidekick and have started to create a new outfit for Traction Man based on the next habitat he would have an adventure in. This has linked into the children’s science learning from the previous half term where they have learnt about the habitats of different animals.

Finally the children had the opportunity to use their own toys from home to create a scenario that their toys would find themselves in where one toy needs rescuing!

The children still have some more fun to be had with Traction Man where they will be writing letters and stories.
