The children in Reception this week have finished reading the ‘Naughty Bus’ By Jan and Jerry Oke. A brilliant  story book which follows the adventures of a ‘Naughty Bus’ using real life pictures to illustrate the story. The children have been developing their skills using technology this term and furthered their learning by using a camera independently for this task.

They had to come up with the idea for the Bus’ next adventure, then create an image using props and a model bus. It was fantastic to see such imaginative thinking and skilled picturing taking. The children have been so excited coming up with different narratives, they just can’t wait to start writing their stories. Next week they will be showing off their super letter formation and use of Phonics to write up the Naughty Bus’ next big adventure……
