The children in Reception had an interruption to Thursday’s English lesson. The children discovered that all the pencils had been taken from the classroom just as they were about to write their Christmas cards. Moments later a parcel arrived containing a mischievous Elf and a riddle for them to solve to rescue their pencils. The riddle led them to the forest, where the children showed fantastic teamwork to find the mysterious red box. Once back inside the classroom, the pencils were put to good use and this amazing writing was produced.
