Year 1 have consolidated their learning about wild plants and garden plants by creating their own glorious gardens full of both kinds of plants. They learnt the names for the many colourful plants and the differences between how they grow in the wild and in people’s gardens. The children had a great time creating  their own ideal future garden and ‘planting’ an assortment of plants. Look at how magnificent they look- just like the gardens of a royal palace. They are very proud of their creations and rightly so. The next lesson will be spent labelling the different plants that the children included.
