The children have been reading The Dark by Lemony Snicket. The children have really enjoyed this book and have shown great curiosity whilst reading and finding out more about what will happen. The children were given a call and response poem to read, which they practiced and performed with their peers. By engaging in this activity, this allowed the children to then follow with creative and inspiring pieces of writing.
