On Saturday 29th January members of the Equality and Excellence committee attended the ‘Diversity’ football match  between Dagenham and Redbridge FC and Halifax Town. For many of the children it was their first time watching a football match in a stadium.

There was a great atmosphere and Eastbrook primary school even got a mention on the public address system in the stadium!  Unfortunately, Dagenham and Redbridge FC came second against Halifax town, our pupils supported them to the end of the match, with cries of encouragement. There was an awful lot of cheering when Robinson scored for Dagenham!

Pupil behaviour was exemplary and a wonderful time was had by all despite the loss. Hopefully the result will be better next time we attend!
