It’s been a busy time in Year 4 as they have been working on their Computing unit, ‘We are musicians.’ Pupils showed a good understanding of musical notations, staves and the length and pitch of different notes. Having discussed this, they applied their understanding when creating their own melodies. They observed what happens when different notes are played and that the positions (on the line) change, depending on how high or low the note is. Year 4 had fun and were able to share their understanding well, particularly as there were a number of ‘experts’ in the room.
