The children in Reception had an enjoyable first week back after half term. They were excited to see their role play area had been turned into an ice cream parlour! Resisting the temptation to nibble the scented play dough the children used their fine motor skills to create ice cream sundaes for their friends.

The children managed to use the tricky ice cream scoops to place the ‘ice cream’ on top of the cones and then they spooned different toppings all over their creations. It was great to see the children’s imaginations being sparked as they continued their role plays, coming up with stories at the seaside, friends owning ice cream parlours and disgusting alien flavoured sundaes.
