In Apollo 2, this week in Maths children have been exploring a range of areas focusing on our theme: shape and measure.

Some children were working with real life 2D shapes sorting them into colour groups and identifying the shape. Some children have explored 3D shapes and their properties, sorting them into criteria (straight edges, curved edges) ready for next weeks activity looking at Ven diagrams!

For measure, children have been introduced to the use of recording values by tally charts.
