Reception Garden, Not Errol’s!

After the children in reception got stuck into their new class story Errol’s Garden, they were inspired to create their gardens! They had spent some time investigating and exploring different plants, flowers, and vegetables before they got to work.  As a team, the children worked together to draw and create a class garden. Using the flashcards for references they got creative and beautifully labeled their choice of flower or plant.

Following this the children worked with Miss Mohmed on observational drawing skills. carefully looking at the details of the plant and flower they patiently drew and coloured their flowers.  As you can see by the proud faces and beautiful creations the children enjoyed this task and developed themselves as budding artists!
