Year 6 have been drawing and constructing their own nets to make 3D shapes. They recalled the features of their shape; it had to have x amount of faces and x amount of vertices etc. They then carefully drew out their net and decorated the net. Next they cut along the edges, at this point some of the children realised that they had not thought about flaps to hold the 3D shape together so they improvised with masking tape!

Pupils decorated their 3D models to look as bright due to them being used to hold popcorn during their special treat this afternoon for performing so well and persevering on questions during assessment week.
