Pupils in Year Three have nearly finished reading the thought provoking book, ‘One Plastic Bag’ by Isatou Ceesay. They have really enjoyed looking at the beautiful illustrations so today they had a chance to create their own illustrations to go with the text. The children used chalks, oil pastels and collage to create their illustrations. They worked hard to blend the pastels and convey a message of how horrible the smelly bags were, attracting flies and causing toxic pollution!
