Pupils in Year three are currently reading the beautiful book; ‘One Plastic Bag’ by Isatou Ceesay. It highlights the problems of single use carrier bags being thrown away into the environment and the problems that this waste can cause. Pupils have read how some children in Africa drink a fruit juice from a plastic bag with a plastic straw, children in Year three have designed more sustainable drinking vessels.
