Year three have been learning about teeth during their science lessons. They have learnt the names of different teeth, the reasons why humans have different teeth in their mouths and how to keep their teeth clean and healthy.

Today they took a disclosing tablet to reveal if they were brushing their teeth correctly… If there was any new plaque on their teeth they would be stained red and older plaque displays as purple or blue. Thankfully there were lots of shiny white teeth, which means the children are brushing well but there was some staining on some of the back teeth so some children are going to be a bit more careful at brushing their back teeth from now on.
