We have so busy this week in Year 4 working to improve our understanding of the way we can use manipulatives to represent different numbers. As part of our Maths learning we worked as a group to show the expanded form of a number. The children were quite excited to work with each other however, this was also an opportunity to develop one of our core values, teamwork. By the end of this particular session, the children were able to articulate quite clearly how to show a variety of values and were very eager to present their learning. Well done Year 4!
