The children in Reception have been getting busy designing, making and painting their very own robots! They were able to draw their ideas and write a list of what they would need to make their creations. Then using junk modelling materials, the children got sticking and cutting to form their robot friends. They were able to support each other so kindly, helping hold pieces as the other got the tape.

Once they were built the children then painted their models which really brought them to life. The children were so excited by their robot art and couldn’t wait to take them home. They have really developed their confidence when using their thinking skills to create, along with their ability to talk through their process. The children were very proud of the end product, showing you can set a goal and persevere to achieve it!
