We are delighted to announce that after an application process the new head boy and girl have been selected… we are pleased to announce that Sofia and Aiden are proud to accept this responsibility. The pupils are both excellent role models and they will represent our school with the utmost maturity and confidence required for these esteemed positions, within the school. Their roles will include assisting in assemblies, welcoming and speaking with visitors to the school, liaising with their counterparts in the secondary school, meeting regularly with the school council and many other exciting initiatives. Sofia stated, ‘This is an amazing opportunity that I will take very seriously!’ Aiden also added, ‘It is an honour to be the head boy of my school!’

We also have a boy and girl house captain from each of our school teams! Again, pupils had to complete an application process and explain what skill set they have to make them suitable for the role. There was fierce competition to be leaders for each team, after some deliberation, eight pupils were identified as worthy role models. Pupils will help with the smooth running of the school playground, lead their teams during sporting events, update the house point display and be involved with the decision process for termly house rewards.

We are very proud of our year six pupils who have risen to be young leaders in our school and it is lovely to see them  fulfilling their roles with in the school with due diligence. Congratulations to the ten young leaders!
