The children in Reception took inspiration from the photos they took of the buses next adventure. It was great to see the children feeling so confident when they came to the writing table. As you can see from the images the children came up with some creative ideas for the next adventure, the bus diving in to our water tank or taking a nap in our dolls house. The children developed their own narratives around the buses character.

In PHSE this week the children discussed the ‘Naughty Bus’ and his decisions and you could see how this effected their character creation. Some of the children gave the bus a conscious and he was so sorry for his behavior meaning that their next adventure was that of a ‘Nice Bus’. The children have been taking such pride in their work, showing they are ready for their leap into Year 1.
