Year Three visited the forest today as part of their Stone Age topic. They used potato peelers to make Stone Age arrows and spears similar to the ones that Stone Age hunters would have used. They also learnt how to light a fire using a flint and steel. The children didn’t eat any roasted woolly mammoth over the fire instead they opted for some toasted marshmallows – delicious!
