Year 5 have demonstrated great resilience and enthusiasm when working with fractions, decimals and percentages. They worked to identify the relationship between each. Sometimes this involved finding an equivalent fraction where the denominator was 10 or 100; sometimes this involved using their knowledge of place value. In this lesson, year 5 worked in pairs, then as a group, to consolidate their understanding when finding equivalent fractions, decimals and percentages.

Great collaboration and healthy competition were shown. We are fantastic mathematicians!
