The children in reception have been exploring 3D shapes. They enjoyed working with their friends during circle time making different models with the 3D shapes. They explored the different features of the shapes and noticed which shapes were easy to build with but also what other objects the 3D shape resembled.

Throughout the week they continued their shape curiosity, during free flow and by the end of the week they were able to complete the task of matching the 3D shape to an object. For their home learning task, they had to complete a shape hunt around their house. The children loved watching the videos together and celebrating with their friends.
