Eastbrook pupils visit Eastbrookend!

Pupils in Year Three had a fantastic educational visit to Eastbrookend Country Park yesterday!

Their first task was to use their orienteering skills and follow a map around the park. Along the route there were carved animals to find and twelve nature marker posts to seek out too. The children found this very enjoyable and were delighted when they found both the markers and animals!

Their next task was to find items on a scavenger hunt, from two different coloured flowers to rough tree bark the pupils managed to find all of the items!

After a long walk, all around the park it was time for a well-deserved picnic lunch in the shade.  After lunch, the children had the opportunity to play with their friends in the adventure playground!

The behaviour of the pupils was exemplary, and they were amazing ambassadors for the school once again. The pupils had a wonderful day in the open air and for many it was their first visit to an amazing environment close to their homes.
