Delicious Home Grown/Reared Food!

Year Three have been learning how to grow the most perfect cress in the best conditions during their Science lessons. Once the cress grew, pupils cut and washed it. They then collected eggs from the Eastbrook chicken coop and boiled them. Carefully, the children peeled the shell from the eggs and chopped up the hard boiled eggs. Next they added mayonnasie to the eggs and spread it on slices of bread. Finally, they sprinkled cress over the sandwich filling and then served the food!

The food tasted delicious and the children were proud that they had collected the egg filling and grown the cress themselves. Well done Year Three!
