Christmas Jumper Day Complete with Reindeer and Santa

Pupils arrived at school full of Christmas excitement for the fun filled day ahead of them…

The school looked very colourful because the children wore their Christmas and winter jumpers, in aid of Save the Children charity. The children were also given Santa hats to wear to fit in with the festive theme!

To add to the festive day of merriment, two of Santa’s reindeer came to visit from the North Pole; Dancer and Prancer. There were led by James and his reindeer handler, each class were able to spend some time with the reindeer and find out what they ate and lots of other interesting facts. Did you know that they eat purple carrots which enable them to fly on Christmas Eve and pull the sleigh?

Later on there was a delicious roast dinner for the children to eat, complete with chocolate cake – yummy!

After lunch there was a finale to the day- Father Christmas visited each classroom to deliver a sack of presents! What a lovely day at Eastbrook to remember!
