Team reception wanted to make a treat for their family and friends to show off their virtue of kindness and gratitude!

Off the kitchen they went, ready to follow the instructions and get baking. They discussed the ingredients, where they come from and how they were made. Working in teams, they added all the ingredients and put in some elbow grease to get it mixed all together. Each child was able to spoon out the mixture into the cupcake case. Into the oven the cupcakes went ready to be decorated the following day.

As this was a festive gift, the children went for a frosty theme and mixed the white and blue icing, adding snowflakes, polar bears and snowmen to their hand made sweets. Proud smiles can be seen as the children show off their cakey creations. Even more smiles at home time when the children shared their Christmas cakes.
