The children in Reception have started their first class story Arrgghhh! Spider by Linda Monks as they have all gone full time this week. They have been enjoying everything spider in their provision putting their fine motor skills to the challenge of cutting up shape spiders and painting creepy hairy spiders.

As the story unfolded and the children realised the spider had feeling, they had to use their imaginative thinking to create their own spider friend. They came up with some fantastic characters adding great details to their little spiders friends and coming up with some creative descriptive words.
