The community of Eastbrook Primary School have come together this afternoon to kick off their fundraising campaign for Macmillan Cancer Support by holding a glorious outdoor coffee and cake sale. What a joy to see so many families join us on the field for a tasty Friday treat whilst raising money for such an essential and worthwhile cause!

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. It also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care.

We will let you know how much money was raised in total in the near future, but once again thank you to all who supported our event, showing overwhelming amounts of kindness and generosity.
