On Wednesday and Thursday this week, Ofsted is inspecting our school remotely.

They would like to know what you think about the school. Your views about the school are important to them.

As a registered parent or carer of a pupil at the school, you can tell Ofsted your views about the school by completing their online survey, Ofsted Parent View, at: www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk.

Ofsted Parent View asks for your opinion on some aspects of your child’s school, including the progress made by your child, the quality of teaching, how the school deals with bullying and poor behaviour. In particular, they are keen to hear how you feel the school has done in providing education online for your child during the current lockdown. Parent View also provides a free-text box for you to make additional comments, if you wish, regarding additional support you or your child has received. The inspectors will use the online survey responses when inspecting our school.

To register your views, you will need to provide your email address, which will be held securely. It will not be used for any purpose other than providing access to the online survey. Neither schools nor Ofsted will have access to any email addresses.

To register:

Step 1: Provide an email address and answer the questions. You will be pushed back to the login page but an email will have been sent to you.

Step 2: Check your emails and click on the link provided.

Step 3: You need to change your password. This needs to be a minimum of 8 characters.

Step 4: Once you have saved your password you will notice that it says in red ‘Profile Updated’. You can then click on the ‘Give your views’ section in the grey bar at the top.

Step 5: Please insert Eastbrook School and postcode RM10 7UR

Step 6: Select Eastbrook School from the top of the list. This is for both Primary and Secondary. Do NOT select Eastbrook Academy.

Please complete the online survey as soon as possible, preferably by 11am on Wednesday 3rd, the first day of the inspection, as this will give the inspection team more time to consider your views.
