As part of the Bookbuzz school reading programme, all students in Years 7 and 8 are given a free book which they can take home and keep.

So in English lessons this week, students have been choosing which book they would like to order from a list of 17 titles; the books are carefully selected by a panel of experts to ensure quality, suitability and to encourage reading for pleasure.

As it’s a big decision, students watched an introduction video to the 17 books and were able to have a look inside before making their final choice.

The books will be ordered and delivered to students shortly.
