Year 7 Open Evening – A Big Success!

Eastbrook Secondary School opened its doors to prospective Year 7 students and their families on Thursday 17th September for our Open Evening. The evening was a great success with huge numbers joining us to find out more about our excellent school.

Our students were on hand to provide tours around our outstanding facilities, and all of the parents were thoroughly impressed by them. They spoke with great pride and enthusiasm about their school and were great ambassadors for us. Departments opened up their classes to provide information about their subjects and there was a very well received presentation from the Headteacher, Mr Frith. In addition, parents received a talk from former student Alfie Tucker. He explained to them about how caring and supportive the school had been to him, but also how we had pushed him to achieve his potential academically. He is now going to Oxford University to study French and Arabic and we all wish him well for the future.

If you were unable to attend our Open Evening but would like to arrange a tour of the school, or if you attended but want to take up Mr Frith’s invitation to see the school in action, please contact us on openevening@eastbrookschool.org to register your interest for one of our Open Mornings.
