Whose Rights? They’re OUR Human Rights!

UCL law students began working with 9H students in an online 8 weeks project, via zoom, every Tuesday between 14:00-14:40.

Many thanks to the following UCL law students, Charlotte, Nikki,  Nabil, and Farah, who delivered the first two sessions. Some of the topics throughout the project include

–           What are human rights?

–          Absolute vs qualified rights

–          The Human Rights Act 1998

–          And many more

In Tuesday’s session one of the questions debated was, should prisoners have the right to vote? In answering this question, Eastbrook’s students, of the law, showed PROUD virtues whilst applying their arguments and reasoning skills championing the need for us to remain resolute in defending our human rights!
