Congratulations to the U16A Netball team who completed their season whilst remaining unbeaten. Thursday 15th December saw them have a double header against Goresbrook. The team had done so well throughout the season to remain unbeaten and they did not want to give that up in their last 2 games.

Up first was Goresbrook A who put up a fight and made it hard for the team to get going. It went play for play with each team trying to dominate the game. Eastbrook took the lead and the girls wanted to build on that, but Goresbrook came back fighting and it continued that way for all 4 quarters. The game ended in a 6-6 draw.

Up next was Goresbrook B, which the girls were determined to beat after coming off of a tough draw. The girls started the second game will keeping the lead in the first 3 quarters. Time came for the final quarter and Goresbrook B came back strong, really pushing the girls, but Eastbrook responded and made sure to come away with an 8-5 win.
