Mental Health Awareness Week 9th – 15th May 2022

Mental Health Awareness week has begun and we at Eastbrook School are proud to support our students and staff in raising its profile. This year’s theme is “Loneliness”, it’s effect on our mental health and how we can all support the people around us in reducing the feeling of being alone.

We all know someone that suffers from a mental health issue of some kind, but are possibly too scared to talk about it, so it’s important that we promote that it’s ok to tell someone how you are feeling. As a school we pride ourself on having an open door policy, particularly when someone needs to talk.

At Eastbrook we are ensuring that staff and students know where they can get help, both in school and outside.
