When we checked the weather on Sunday afternoon, it did not say to expect about five inches of snow.  By early evening, the entire area was covered in a light dusting of snow.  When the clock struck midnight, it was still snowing…

Monday morning. Snow to the right. Snow to the left. Snow to the front. Excited Year 7s waited for the message. The announcement came just after 8:00am.

The decision had been made to close the school. Excitement vibrated through the entire borough.

Students were expected to complete online learning, but still made time for fun in the snow. Year 7s eagerly shared pictures of their masterpieces.
