This week Year 10 Business Students took part in a day of Business innovation called Launchpad.  A team from Young Enterprise came into lead our students through a day of tasks culminating in an awards ceremony.

Students began with an observation icebreaker which was very tricky they then completed a personality test to work out their best role within the teams. Each team was given a business to rebrand and update including a photo studio, sports shop, party business, gym, café and cycle store.

Students needed to create a budget, decide their name, logo and slogan as well as completing marketing materials before approaching the banks to ask for loans.  They completed the day with pitching their ideas to the judges.  Students enjoyed the day and produced a huge volume of work with quite a tight deadline.  They presented well and were thrilled with the awards ceremony.
