Selected Year 10 students are participating in an online Eton College course entitled: ‘Making an Impact’ – https://etonx.com/courses/making-an-impact/

EtonX courses are designed to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in the future, both at university and in the workplace. This course is 100% online and packed full of engaging learning materials, with a personal action plan and a knowledge test for each learner. The course will enable students to:

Communicate your opinions clearly and confidently
Ask for what they want and say ‘no’ politely
Moderate body language and tone of voice to make the right impression
Ask better questions and summarise what they hear
Build trust and empathise with others
Understand and implement different techniques to influence and persuade others
Identify personal goals and create a plan to achieve them
