In January, Eastbrook Students participated in the remembrance of the Holocaust and other genocides from around the world during Personal Development sessions.

Students learnt about the causes of the Holocaust, and how persecution and discrimination led to genocide among ethnic minorities. Students discussed and talked about the harm hatred does to our society and how we can overcome the pain and challenge the hurt to make our world a fairer place for all.

We hope that our students will never support the “Us versus Them” narrative and remember our school motto of “Together We Learn”.
