Year 7 students have concluded their first module in Health and Safety – Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco Education program. The have studied the harmful effects of over-consumption of drugs, the reason why people become dependent on drugs and the ways in which we can protect ourselves and others from drug abuse.

Students have also engaged in Healthy living awareness, understanding the impact of a healthy brain and exercise can do for our well-being.

Lastly, students have been taught basic First Aid. Many students have produced fantastic instructional videos detailing the primary survey – DR ABC or have written responses to question posed by their teachers.

The key message for this module is: “Prepareness is the Key for Success”
