Eastbrook Project Restart

Years 10 and 12 partially returned to school this week, in small groups and with lessons in wide aerated spaces. Year 10 students received a well deserved gift of an inspirational book from their Head of Year, Mr Nathan, as well as one of our shiny new PROUD badges from the Headteacher, Mr Frith.

Year 10 student Shakira Chebli said: “It was great to experience some face to face teaching and I felt completely safe, especially being taught in such small groups. I would encourage my peers to join us – if there are any spaces left!”

Mr Nathan added: “We are extremely PROUD of all students and their parents/ carers who made the difficult decision to return to school. Their behaviour on site is impeccable as always, respecting social distancing and maintaining our safety protocols. I would encourage all students to return to school if possible, as the small groups provide valuable, personal teaching. Our internet cafe is also open for private study on Wednesdays, allowing students access to school laptops and printing facilities that they may not have at home.”
