On the 27th February, four Year 9 students braved the elements to compete in the Accelerate Urban Debate League hosted by the University of East London.  The first debate placed Team Eastbrook in the proposition side on the motion that this house would introduce a four-day school week.  With a series of convincing arguments, Team Eastbrook emerged victorious.  The second debate had us in opposition side on the motion that this house would only imprison violent offenders.  After a nail biting deliberation from the judges, Team Eastbrook were told they won the debate by a narrow margin.
