A number of year 8 students have been honing their debating skills with Deloitte. One of the students involved – Dawson Ngandu 8E wrote ” Students debated on a range of  everyday things  – having a point, evidence, explanation and link it back to the discussion. We have learned to have different ideas when debating and have worked as a group, helping each other to be more confident, having to present to the company at the end of the programme. We all really enjoyed it and look forward to doing this again’. We would like to thank Deloitte for giving us the experience and we feel the skills and knowledge will be useful with our future endeavours”
