Hello to the new year 7’s! I hope you are really looking forward to start your new adventure at Eastbrook School. In History you will be learning about the past and how things were very different a thousand years ago, but also that some things were surprisingly the same. You will be looking at sources of information from the past and using them to work out just what was happening. You will need to bring your curiosity and your questions!
We will be studying the Middle Ages and Tudor times, finding out about big battles like the Battle of Hastings and how Kings and Queens brought many big and important changes to England. We will also look at how everyday life was lived; it was a bit muckier then our lives today. Please try to do the activities on Chronology, using sources,and getting to know you. Bring your work with you in September to get Proud Points!
