For our entry point to our new Science topic, ‘Healthy Diet and Body’  the children drew around one of their friends. In groups they then labelled the major organs and bones in the human body and placed them where they think they are located in our bodies. Most of the children located the organs and bones in the correct places, there were no stomachs in heads or hearts in feet! However many pupils were surprised at the shape and location of the heart.

The children really enjoyed the activity, which focused on many of our school virtues of team work, curiosity, love of learning and confidence. I think we have many aspiring doctors after our Science lesson today!
