This week marks the inaugural session of the new Primary School Chess Club.

Dubbed the ‘Eastbrook Rooks’, the small, but dedicated group of boys began their Chess learning adventure by mastering the movement of the Pawns.

Week by week, they will be introduced to a new chess piece, building up to playing with a full board of pieces before moving on to looking at more strategic and tactical elements of the game.
