The children in Year Two are starting their journey learning about maps and how we get from A to B. The children have mapped out where they are in the world and then they have mapped the classroom using the shapes of the furniture. Today the children further developed this skill by learning how to read a map and orienteer themselves to find the numbers that had been hidden outside. They used the key to help identify where they were.
