The children in Year Four have been exploring the virtue of caring, with a focus on the environment. In discussion, the children spoke about how our actions as humans can affect the environment and the impact that this can have on humans and other livings things. Reusing and recycling materials became a main point of discussion and the children reused paper that would have ended up in the recycling bin to create their own ball and cup game. Not only did the children have a chance to make a positive impact on the environment, they also had fun playing with their new toy.
