In Year 4, we have been exploring the amazing world of Traction Man and all that he encounters. With every adventure or mishap that he faced, we learnt more about being resilient, honest and a true friend. Reading and experiencing Traction Man’s world allowed us to step into the shoes of a superhero.  As our understanding of what is means to be a true superhero grew so did our interest in creating our own superhero. The children thought very carefully about the characteristic needed to be a superhero. Alongside this, they considered the physical attitudes, not to mention the exceptional powers needed to save your best friend. The children were extremely creative with their designs and were able to showcase the skills in bringing their superhero to life.  This was made even more special by the understanding that they children gained. Understanding that they too are all superheroes and they all have amazing super powers such as kindness, friendship and  care. Well done Year 4!
