This week we acted out the last chapter of  our core text, ‘The Silver Donkey’.  Children searched for the silver donkey, a keepsake left by a British soldier for two French children. Willingly suspending their disbelief, the class searched all over the forest.  It was found under a tree, along with a scarf and a pair of gloves.

When we got back to class, we discussed the plot and tried to predict how the plot and characters develop.
