In science, Year Two are learning about living things and what they need to survive. The children had the opportunity to discuss diet, shelter, exercise and safety about snails. Some children were able to feed the snails their favourite food, cucumber, using their own individual spoon. The children did not handle the snails but were able to explain that they must wash their hands after caring for the snails.
