Stunning Meadow Projects

Over the first Summer half-term, the children in Reception have been building a meadow image week by week, using different techniques and skills. They have patiently watched their beautiful painting grow each week and to create these stunning masterpieces.

They painted their base using large paintbrushes mixing the colours on the paper. Then they used a range of tools to create the long grass texture, with cotton buds they added the finer details to make flowers and insects. The children were able to talk about the processes they used and which ones they enjoyed using. You could see how proud they were of their work showing that it does take patience and new skills to create something so beautiful.
